WHY DO I NEED A WHEEL GUARD?

Adding a wheel guard to your scooter is a cheap, customisable feature for the advanced rider. You don’t really need to use one, but if you’re running brakeless and finding that your feet are getting caught in the wheel, adding a wheel guard to your scooter is recommended^.

Here’s a quick simple guide to install your Wheel Guard V2 properly.

WHAT DO I NEED?

All you’ll need is:

- Blunt Envy Wheel Guard V2

- 5mm Allen Key

- 6mm Allen Key

- Your Compatible Deck (scroll down to see compatible decks)

Note: With boxed ends you’ll need 1 x 6mm Allen Key. If you don’t have boxed ends then you’ll need 2 x 5mm Allen Keys.

HOW DO I INSTALL THE WHEEL GUARD V2?

1) Start by removing the rear axle from the deck (6mm Allen Key if you have boxed ends or 2 x 5mm Allen Keys if you don’t have boxed ends). Then remove the axle, wheel, and wheel spacers from the deck. Keep all the screws and spacers to the side as you’ll need them later on.

2) Take out the brake. Use the 5mm Allen Key to unscrew the brake and then you’ll be able to slide it out. Keep the screw to the side.

3) Now grab your Wheel Guard V2. Make sure to line it up with the rear of the deck and slide it in (just like the brake you just took out).

4) Line up the brake bolt hole and tighten it down using the screw you kept to the side (in Step 2).

5) Reinstall your wheel spacers, wheel, and axle that you kept to the side (in Step 1).
